In 2016, we sold this beast:
to Surrey 4×4 Tours and Training. ‘Borris’, as it’s affectionately known to them, has subsequently become a well-known fixture in and around Farnham in Surrey, not just plying the local lanes but also working for Farnham’s local charity, The Hedgehogs, pulling the charity’s trailers or helping on the many events they run during the year.
At Surrey 4×4 Tours and Training, they offer a selection of training and tour options, including a 1 day introduction and a 2 day professional training course.
When Land Rover main dealers sell their customers a brand new car, they are offered a half-day driving experience at one of their off-road centres around the country. Whilst we can’t compete with that, Surrey 4×4 Tours and Training have kindly offered a 10% discount off their normal rates for clients referred by us.
Having been out in Borris on a tour organised by them, I can say from personal experience that the Surrey lanes are exceptional, and these guys know what they’re doing.
They operate from a private woodland just outside Farnham in Surrey. Their facility includes an off-road driving course, 4×4 obstacles, training vehicle (should you prefer not to use your own), toilets, and a covered Cafe area.
Gareth, Stuart and Tim are all qualified 4×4 driving instructors with a combined off-road driving experience of over 50 years including overland driving for Land Rover, and teaching Police, Army, Highways Agency and Special Forces. They are all members of the 4×4 Response Network, GLASS, and all provide volunteer services to local community organisations and charities.
They have a 5-star rating on TripAdvisor, and we’re very happy to work with them.
