Just arrived, and awaiting preparation. More details to follow

just arrived, fresh from a comprehensive restoration, and awaiting preparation – please note the photos are ‘as arrived’ so some road dirt here and there.
For the 2003 Land Rover G4 Challenge, encompassing the East coast of the USA, South Africa, Australia, and then back to America to Las vegas and the Moab desert, Land Rover prepared 62 Discovery II’s to full G4 competition standard as support vehicles for the Freelanders that were actually competing. Although apparently some of the 62 actually competed on the US stages.
All were petrol 4.0 or 4.6 litre V8’s to HSE or ES spec, and as far as we’re aware, all were automatic.
Resplendent in the correct Tangiers Orange, BT52 OVY is one of those 62 vehicles, and, being Right Hand Drive, probably did the South Africa / Australia legs. We’re currently researching it’s G4 history, if anyone can contribute, please let us know.
As above, fresh from a very comprehensive restoration.
Odometer reading 95000 miles
Comes with MOT to February 2027, with no advisories, and our usual 6 month warranty.
Standard ES spec inside, except a) no sunroofs and b )the rearmost jump seats have been deleted and replaced with storage bins, so expect full leather, climate control, electric seats etc etc
More details to follow when a) the history arrives, b) when we’ve had a chance to get it out and give it a proper road test, but it looks really good.
