2006 land rover Defender 110 TD5 silver edition 10 seater for sale at motodrome

SPECIFICATION ETC

The limited edition ‘Silver’ was marketed by Land Rover in 2005/06, in either 90 or 110 formats. Vehicles were taken off the standard production line and sent to Land Rover Special Vehicles for modifications, including a large steering guard, soft front A-frame bar, auxiliary spotlamps, black checkerplate kit., and a factory fitted towpack.

It’s also fitted with the optional ABS and traction control

Externally it also has boost alloys shod with a matching set of BF Goodrich tyres, XS style full-length sidesteps, and a snorkel.

Inside, it’s fitted with the optional air conditioning, XS-style half leather, middle seat making it a 10 seater, full carpeting with Land Rover overmats, and an uprated Alpine stereo with Bluetooth. It also has the standard electric front windows, and remote alarmed central locking with immobiliser.

It’s also been soundproofed, under the carpets and underbonnet.

MILEAGE ETC

Odometer reading 116000 miles, and the V5 shows just 3 previous owners. The last owner, from whom we directly acquired it, has had it since 2009 and cared for it diligently. In his ownership since it was 3 years old, it’s just been used as a family car and not off-roaded.

History-wise we have a service printout up to and including the last service, carried out in May 2022 at 112852m including all underside fluids changed. Other recent highlights include a recon rear differential, rear halfshafts and drive flanges, and rear calipers at 108660m in July 2021, new injector harness at 97696m in March 2020, new clutch and flywheel at 95838m in November 2019, new fuel pressure regulator aty 75342m in August 2016, and new front differential at 66967m in April 2015, all interspersed with regular servicing.

Late-model TD5’s are always desirable vehicles, and in my opinion this is by far one of the nicest I’ve seen for some while. And it drives absolutely superbly as well.

Comes with MOT to June 2023, and 6 months warranty on sale. It’s never failed an MOT on structural corrosion.

at the very bottom of the page, you’ll find our usual 2 videos: a walkaround appraisal, and driving impressions, which form part of the description.
