DEFENDER 90 50TH ANNIVERSARY 4.0V8 AUTO FOR SALE AT MOTODROME

SPECIFICATION ETC

50ths are fitted as standard with automatic transmission, anti-roll bars, air conditioning (cold on this one) , factory Safari  rollcage,  cubbybox, deleted rear bulkhead, NAS rear step, full-length chrome sidesteps, and pewter alloy wheels, all of which this retains.

It’s further fitted with Recaro front seats, Momo steering wheel, a slightly more modern than original stereo, and, rarely for one of these, it doesn’t have a sunroof (no loss in my opinion as they have a tendency to leak)

HISTORY, MILEAGE ETC

This one comes with superb provenance and history, in that it’s only had one private owner for the last 20 years, and who’s covered over 140000 miles in it since buying it.

The odometer reading is now 157000 miles in the hands of just 2 previous keepers, supported by superb history including the original service book with 17 stamps in it (all but one are by main  dealer or specialist) and a large folder of bills and old MOT’s etc. And the original book pack.

Since 2001 it’s been almost exclusively looked after by the same local specialist, and judging by the bills seems to have wanted for nothing, which I think is reflected in the way it drives.

Last serviced on 17th July 2020 at 156465m, including new battery and centre/rear exhaust boxes, so it’s ready to go.

In 2014 it underwent quite an extensive refurbishment costing over £11000.00 including new rear crossmember, new tailgate, and a full respray, although this is showing it’s age in places.

It comes with MOT to July  2021 and 6 months warranty on sale. .

At the very bottom of the page, you’ll find our usual 2 videos: a walkaround appraisal, and driving impressions.
