Internally, it has cloth seats covered with waterproof covers, and radio/CD.
We’ve sold this one twice before, firstly to a local client in 2020 as his first Defender. He loved it and came back the following year to buy a 110 from us to accommodate his growing Labrador.
We next sold it in 2021 to a Surrey-based Land Rover enthusiast, who’s used it for it’s true purpose. If you follow either Surrey 4×4 tours, London Mud Club, or The Rover Social on social media, this example appears frequently. He’s done over 10000 miles in it up hill and down dale (including some tricky lanes), has maintained it regardless of cost, and reports it hasn’t missed a beat. He’s just part exchanged it with us for a rorty 90 V8.
The slight downside of it’s off-road use is that it has picked up one or two more battle scars than it used to have. These are shown in our walkaround video.
MILEAGE, HISTORY ETC
Odometer reading now 106000 miles, and comes with lots of history since 2020. Recent highlights include new rear shocks, both propshafts, both front brake calipers, steering rods and track control arms, cambelt, tensioner and water pump, and alternator in 2022, and new rear brake calipers in 2023
It will come with 12M MOT and 6 months warranty on sale.
Being a factory 300TDi version, it nips along nicely with good punch from the Turbodiesel motor, and with it’s standard-fit power steering it’s easy to handle too. In my opinion it drives without fault.
