motodrome are pleased to offer this charmingly old-school 1993 Land Rover Defender 90 200TDi Station Wagon 6 seater, finished in Arles Blue with white roof.
Specification
This one is a rare (for the era) genuine station wagon not a conversion from a van, is still in it’s original paint, and being one of the last 200TDi’s has rear disc brakes.
Best of all, in 2016 it was rebuilt onto a new Richards galvanised chassis by Gigglepin 4×4, who are well known for the quality of their work on Land Rovers.
Fitted with power steering, alloy wheels (shod with a matching set of 4 Grabber tyres), side and rear steps, mudflaps all round, and adjustable towpack.
Inside it’s standard apart from a fire extinguisher, with vinyl seats and matting, centre cubby box, twin rear bench seats (correct for a 1993 station wagon) and rear seat belts.
Mileage, history etc
Odometer reading 142000 miles and the last owner has enjoyed it since 2014, and had it fastidiously maintained, mainly by the aforementioned Gigglepin.
History-wise we have a replacement stamped service book, and a sheaf of bills from the last owner. Highlights include the galvanised chassis replacement in 2016 (the bulkhead was fully waxoyled at the same time) and a new front differential in 2018
Gigglepin 4×4 serviced and MOT’d it on 06/10/23 at 141862 miles, so it’s freshly serviced and MOT’d (with no advisories) to 27th October 2024, and hence ready to go!
