motodrome offer this 1998 BMW Alpina B10 V8 automatic, finished in the nice combination of Orient Blue metallic with full black leather trim

SPECIFICATION ETC
This one is number 295
Alpina based the B10 V8 on the E39 540i, with a new engine block bored out to 4.6 litres, new crankshaft and more aggressive camshafts, hand-fettled ports, lighter, higher-compression Mahle pistons and reprogrammed injection system, giving 340bhp and 470nM of torque.
Suspension and brakes were also uprated.
Interior-wise, a special hand-stitched steering wheel with Tiptronic buttons was fitted, along with the special Alpina wood, blue instruments with 200mph speedo, build plaque etc.
Exterior-wise, the changes were limited to a new front spoiler, rear spoiler, the iconic Alpina wheels (18in in this case and shod with a matching set of Pirelli P-Zero tyres) and twin exhaust pipes.
Otherwise it has the usual high specification including Climate Control, headlamp wash, DSC, multifunction steering wheel, heated multi-way electric seats (drivers with memory)/steering column/windows, central locking, computer, cruise control, parking sensors, and electric rear blind.
No sunroof fitted to this one.
MILEAGE, HISTORY ETC
Odometer reading 107000 miles, and comes with history including 9 stamps in the service book, old MOT’s back to 2003, and a big sheaf of invoices. We have the BMW book pack and 2 keys.
Last serviced at 105854m plus new front discs and pads.
The V5 would indicate it’s been in one family ownership since 2007, and we’re given to understand it’s spent most of the last few years in France.
It comes with MOT (no advisories) until April 21st 2024, and 6m warranty
It drives superbly, sounds great, and is the epitome of an iron fist in a velvet glove, as it looks quite subtle in my opinion. I really like it.
At the very bottom of the page, you’ll find our usual 2 comprehensive videos – a walkaround appraisal, and driving impressions, which form part of the description.
Viewing by prior appointment.
