Motodrome are pleased to offer this splendid, low owner, 1997 (but comes with the XJR number plate shown) example of the iconic Jaguar XJR 4.0 Supercharged, (X306 type).

SPECIFICATION ETC
I have a real soft spot for these supercharged ones, having had one as my daily driver when they were new, and personally have always preferred them over the BMW M5 of the time.
Being a 1997 model, it’s one of the very last straight-six powered examples built, before the less well loved X308 V8 models came on stream.
.Apart from the smooth and indecently powerful 4.0 supercharged motor (and lets face it, if you’re going to have a classic XJ6 you should have the one that goes well), it has the usual high spec – fitted with switchable automatic transmission, climate control (working and cold) , twin airbags, electric front sports seats / windows/mirrors, remote alarmed central locking, computer, alloys, abs, traction control, rear headrests, Harmon Kardon stereo, and wood/leather steering wheel.
MILEAGE, HISTORY ETC
The alloys were refurbished in 2017 and the opportunity was taken to change their colour to anthracite, which I think really suits it’s powerful stance. The previous owner tells us that the headlining was replaced in 2010 due to the inevitable sagging.
The V5 shows just 2 previous owners, and it’s been in one family ownership since 2002 – husband 2002-2015, and upon his death in 2015, his wife thereafter.
Odometer reading just 108000 miles and comes with first-class history including original stamped service book with stamps up to 100241m, a huge sheaf of bills including the purchase invoice in 2002, and old MOT’s back to 2002. We also have the full book pack and both keys/remotes
vehicle is only available via eBay no reserve auction ending 19th April 2023 at 20:24 BST – the item number is 225520029999
We expect to be paid in full by bank transfer within 4 working days of auction end, and collection within 7 days thereafter.
