motodrome offer for sale this very late classic SAAB 900 – a 1993 turbo SE aero 3-door.
First registered November 1993, so some 8 months after 900 classic production ended, probably making it one of the last cars.
Like almost all late classic 900’s (except the Ruby) this one left the factory in LPT spec. However, in 2017 it was converted to FPT spec by Henton SAAB, including intercooler, boost controller, and gauge, and hence performs very sharply.
Fitted with electric sunroof/windows/mirrors, headlamp wash/wipe etc and the full aero kit.
Also fitted with Blaupunkt radio/CD with electric aerial.
MILEAGE, HISTORY ETC
Odometer reading 171000 miles (these are more than capable of starship mileages) and comes with superb history including stamped service book, a big sheaf of bills, and old MOT’s back to 1997, all in the original folder with the instruction manual.
Interior-wise it’s in pretty good shape, without the usual sagging headlining. There is a small area of damage to the top of the rear seat back where it meets the load area cover, as seen in the pictures.
Comes with MOT to January 2023 and 6 months warranty on sale.
An utterly characterful car, from the days when SAAB did things just that little bit differently, these are now becoming quite rare.
At the very bottom of the page, you’ll find our usual two videos: a walkaround appraisal, and driving impressions, which form part of the description
viewing by prior appointment.
