details
Travellers make excellent practical classics – they’re simple, so easy to drive, and very versatile, and with it’s A-series 1098cc engine seemingly in rude health this one performs admirably. .
It seems to be in standard factory specification with the exception of:
- Alternator conversion
- Aftermarket, more modern reclining front seats with headrests, and longer seat runners meaning taller drivers like myself can get more comfortable than in a standard one
- Modern inertia reel seat belts
Odometer reading 49000 miles, although this doesn’t seem to be correct, and V5 shows 6 previous keepers which isn’t bad for a 57 year old example
On test it performed superbly and I’d class it as a nicely useable example that presents well.
It is of course RFL, MOT and ULEZ exempt
