Motodrome are pleased to offer this very smart 1961 Jaguar Mark II 2.4 manual with overdrive, finished in Racing Green with Green full leather and wood interior.

DETAILS
Fitted with enamel wire wheels, Coombes-style sports rear spats, stainless exhaust, and the very rare optional reclining seats.
The whole interior, including the wood, headlining, and carpets is near-new and still smells fresh, and looks superb in Suede Green.
Chassis 108766DN is an original RHD example, first registered 18th August 1961.
Body and paintwork wise, it seems to have undergone extensive restoration at some point (possibly around 2009/10) and it still presents pretty well – the paintwork is quite nice in my opinion.
Interior-wise, as above, near-new.
Chromework – probably original, hence some patination and pitting but still pretty fine.
Mechanically – standard early 2.4 spec ie Moss gearbox etc.
Still wearing it’s original UK registration number, with a nice set of period number plates.
The 2.4 6 cylinder XK-engined compact Jaguars are more of a wafter than the 3.4 or 3.8 models, but still provide an enriching experience either behind the wheel, or as a passenger. Whilst clearly they don’t have the outstanding acceleration of their bigger-engined siblings, they still cruise along quite happily. However you won’t be using it as a getaway car from a blag anytime soon…
This one has an odometer reading of 7000 miles (which is clearly incorrect and is probably actually 107000) and comes with bills and old MOT’s back to the late 1990’s
Underneath the photo gallery, you’ll find our usual two videos: a walkaround appraisal, and driving impressions, which form part of the description
